Not only will you get helpful suggestions when we discuss your work, you will be thoroughly entertained by the writings of your fellow members. Join us every first Monday, 3-5 pm in the Main Clubhouse. Info: Roger Smith, 769-2808. Things are going great! We've got new members and exciting happenings. The next meeting will be Mon., May 13. Meetings are always held on the second Monday of each month, in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room at 7 pm. We will be judging our first photo contest using the theme presented at the April meeting. New members are always welcome. Our meetings are fun and informative. Whether you've shot family photos or fantastic works of art, bring them to the May meeting and share your best with the group. You can bring prints or a digital image on flash drive or CD to project onto our big screen. Everyone, amateur or pro, is welcome. You can ask for critiques of your work or just show off. Try to limit your photos to five but no one will complain if you bring more. This is a friendly group meeting and there are no dues. A field trip for May 18 has been planned to the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris. As a special treat, tutorials on Photoshop Elements 11 will be Fri., May 3, 12:30 - 5 pm. Non-members are invited but seating is limited. If you haven't signed up you can call to see if space is available. Questions? Open to all interested, admission will be something wonderful to eat, your choice. In addition, bring a show and tell! My suggestion would be your latest project, finished or not, a new and special yarn, a newly discovered yarn source, a wonderful pattern, something that excites you! We get together each month on the second Friday of the month in the Main Clubhouse Arts & Craft Room at 3 pm. The group is open to any and all residents of Sun Lakes. You need not be a current woodworker, you only need the interest in woodworking. If you want to get back into woodworking or if you want to start woodworking. We are the place, come join us.
