32 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JUNE 2020 | Due to all that is going on in the world today, there is a possibility that we may be unable to meet this month. I miss seeing each one of you and pray that we can meet again soon. PLEASE BE SAFE! If possible, our next meeting and support group will be on Thurs., June 18 at 10 am in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. There is no guest speaker this month. I am sure if we are able to meet, everyone will have a great deal to talk about after being in our homes for so long. If you are not sure this group is for you, stop in and have a cup of coffee and meet people who are experiencing the same things that you are. I cannot stress enough the importance of these meetings. If you are caring for someone, you need to take time to care for YOU. We are here for you. We are a CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP FOR ALL CAREGIVERS. You do not have to be caring for someone with Memory Loss. We are here for EVERYONE! If you are concerned about leaving your loved one at home while you attend the meeting, we have a wonderful program for your loved one in the Arts & Crafts Room. We have live music each month. Drop your loved ones off at the Arts & Crafts Room on your way to the meeting so they can partake in the music and fun. We are a group of loving caregivers. We enjoy caring for your loved one so you can go to the meeting and not worry about them. If you have any questions, would like to learn more about Memory Loss, or would like reading materials that we can loan you, call Diane, (951) 769-0130, Doug, (360) 840-5559 or Anne, (951) 845-8700. Remember we are here to help. WARNING SIGN #2: CHALLENGES IN PLANNING OR SOLVING PROBLEMS Some people may experience changes in their ability to develop and follow a plan or work with numbers. They may have trouble following a familiar recipe or keeping track of monthly bills. They may have difficulty concentrating and take much longer to do things than they did before. Caregiver Support Group Just in case: Check with your club contact to confirm meeting place, date, and time.
