| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | June 2020 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA Summer is here! So is COVID-19. For this month's article, here are some important current events. At this writing, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors are discussing the current stay-at-home restrictions and social distancing guidelines. Your Board is watching their actions along with the Health Officer to see what amenities will be allowed to open. We believe as you read this, the pool and sport courts will have reopened with conditions. The Lodge interior is still in question as to when it will open. The Board is taking deliberate steps to ensure the amenities that do open are safe for the residents. As mentioned in a past article, our janitorial staff is working very hard to sanitize the facilities on an hourly and daily basis. Our staff is practicing the same preventative steps at the front counter and back office as directed by our corporate office and the Health Officer. We will continue to send email blasts regarding The Lodge operations and/or openings of amenities. Results from the open session Board of Directors meetings on these topics will be emailed so residents will have the most current information. The Board and committees are using Zoom for meetings and it is working out as expected. Email invitations to the meetings will be sent and owners are welcome to "log in" to any committee and open session Zoom meeting. Getting out of the house for some exercise? DO NOT WALK IN THE STREETS! I continue to see residents walking in the streets which is against the Penal Code. Please walk on the sidewalks, not the streets. I hope by the end of this month, The Lodge will be opened and if so, please make sure you are being a responsible resident and doing your part to maintain the six foot social distancing, wear a face covering while in the building, use the hand sanitizers, and wash your hands. From what I've observed, you all are doing a great job with this! Regarding the pool, the current information as of this writing is that the county is recommending residents only in the pools, no outside guests allowed in the pool. If this changes, and guests are allowed, we will send out an eblast accordingly. But please be assured, YOUR safety is of utmost importance to the Board and our management team, and the Board may err on the side of caution. Stay tuned for additional updates. Have a good June and Happy Father's Day to all the dads and grandpas. We hope you can safely spend time with your family members!
