I hope this finds everyone in Four Seasons all a bit more at ease. It is just about summer and I am looking forward to more watermelon, sweet, red, juicy goodness dripping down my chin. The sounds of laughter and play nearby. I suppose just having something seasonally "normal." As an Activity Director for the last 20 years, my life has been about planning and doing. What I have discovered with this most recent situation is how planning brings me comfort. It gives me some sense of control. I use that loosely as event planning can have many variables that keep you in a constant adapt and adjust mode. It has been a bit unsettling not having the needed information to re-schedule and plan. At the time of writing this I am unsure of gathering allowances for events, I am hoping to have music and movies outdoors at some point as allowed. There is nothing better to me than the combined sounds of people having a good time at an event (well, babies giggling). In this time of pandemic quarantine we will adapt and overcome. So many have risen to the occasion helping each other, helping the community and also following the stay-at-home orders when needed. 4 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | June 2020 | A Note From Your Activities Director By Tracie Rodgers This beauty was left by one of my neighbors to welcome me home from work. A simple act of kindness can make all the difference. I hope to see all of you real soon.
