4 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2020 | SIRIT TAG (TRANSPONDER) TIPS & GUIDE • Keep the Sirit tag dry for 12 hours, following installation on the headlamp, to ensure it adheres properly. • A Sirit tag will be disabled and no longer work if it is tampered with or damaged. • If the Sirit tag is not working properly it will be replaced free of charge within the first 30-days, if it has not been tampered with or peeled off. • A Sirit tag that stops working for any reason after the 30-day warranty expires or is damaged due to an automobile accident will be the responsibility of the resident to replace. • Please advise vehicle service providers (car dealership service centers, mechanics, collision centers, car washes, detail shops) to refrain from tampering with or removing the Sirit tag. • Do not use a pressure washer or buffer/polisher directly on a Sirit tag. • If a headlamp is replaced where a Sirit tag is affixed, it will be the responsibility of the resident to purchase a new tag. 2020 AGE VERIFICATION FORM Pursuant to the federal government and state law (please refer to the governing documents and CA Civil Code Section 51.11), every owner of, or person residing in, a home at Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowner's Association must complete a 2020 Age Verification Form, to certify his/her eligibility to reside in the Association, which is a senior community. This must be done to ensure at least 80% of the community is 55+. This requires each resident, in the home, to fill out a separate 2020 Age Verification Form and supply proof of age (i.e. – California Driver's License, California ID Card, Passport or Military ID). Return completed form(s) to the Administration Office no later than Friday, July 31, 2020. Contact the administration office at (951) 769-6649 if you need additional copies of the form or have questions regarding how to fill it out. Box 62053 Newark, NJ 07101 SUN LAKES NEWS ALERTS FirstService Residential offers many tools to assist the Planning & Compliance Department with our function of enforcing the governing documents and assisting homeowners with understanding those documents. This includes a different style of letter that details violations, which rule governs the noted violations, and what actions the homeowner must take to bring the property into compliance. Included with this change is a new method of contacting the Planning & Compliance Department for guidance and updates. The previous templates caused confusion about which staff member to call when there was a question about the received letter. With four different phone numbers to the department, callers could be confused about who to ask for when there was a question. The new template offers one phone number for all violation questions. All staff members monitor that number and if messages are left, it is our goal to respond to those messages within one business day. We ask that callers leave their name, contact phone number, and a brief message about their concern so that when we return the call, we are able to address that concern. Messages that do not have a call back number cannot be returned as our systems do not automatically identify callers. If you have received a letter using the new FirstService Residential template and you wish to leave feedback about the change, please feel free to call the department at 951-769-6647 or to email Department Manager Etanisla Lopez-Ortiz at etanisla.lopez-ortiz@fsresidential. com. Planning & Compliance Department SUN LAKES IS GOING CASHLESS Staff has been directed to no longer accept cash beginning, Wed., June 17.
