| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JULY 2020 | 5 Effective Wednesday, June 17, 2020: The administration office will be locked until further notice. However, residents will be permitted to enter, by appointment only. Appointments will be offered between the hours of 9 am to 12 pm and 1:30 to 5 pm. One person, or one household, will be permitted to come in at a time. Due to COVID-19, there are strict limitations regarding face-to-face interactions. The following procedures have been implemented, for the safety of the residents and staff. 1. Staff are required, upon arrival to work, to have their temperature taken to ensure it does not exceed 100.9 degrees. 2. Residents are required to have their temperature taken to ensure it does not exceed 100.9 degrees, prior to entering the administration office. 3. Face coverings must be worn in the administration office for the duration of your visit. 4. A hand sanitizer station is available for use in the office. 5. Residents who have an appointment with a member of the staff, will be contacted by phone shortly before their scheduled appointment, to answer some basic screening questions per CDC Guidelines. This process must be completed, before they are allowed to enter the building. If you or anyone in your household have a fever or answer yes to any of the following questions, we ask that you stay home and reschedule your appointment. a. In the past 14 days have you or anyone in your household: i. Tested positive for COVID-19? ii. Been in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19? iii. Traveled outside of the US? iv. Have two or more of the following symptoms? 1. Cough 2. Shortness of Breath 3. Fever 4. Chills 5. Repeated Shaking with Chills 6. Muscle Pain 7. Sore Throat 8. New Loss of Taste or Smell 9. Vomiting 10. Headache 11. Diarrhea We apologize for any inconvenience these procedures may cause. The Board and staff are taking steps to try and minimize the spread of illness. STROKE SUPPORT GROUP: I am conducting a survey to determine if there would be interest in beginning a Stroke Support Group at Sun Lakes. The group would be for anyone who has suffered a stroke, caregivers, or anyone interested in learning more about strokes. Please contact Rachael Salazar to discuss your interest at (951) 845-8393.
