FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2020 15 As we all know by now, events are subject to change and residents should check the website and the Daily Report as the event date nears. By Cindy Graves I can't believe we're still not completely back to normal and it's July! As I'm writing this, I'm a little bit more hopeful as the Riverside County Board of Supervisors is initiating stage 3 of the reopening plan. Fingers crossed that we'll be able to get a better idea on event logistics and requirements after this plan is released. Loretta Ramsey and the Social Committee are waiting to see whether or not we'll be able to have our Mentalist Show outside. Then there are the struggles with band contracts and upcoming dates for the Amphitheater (thank you for your hard work, Mark.) In case you haven't heard, due to all of the unknowns, we will also be canceling the Movie Nights at The Summit this year… bummer. We'll make up for it next year and maybe they'll even let us have a couple of extra outdoor movie nights in 2021. I hope so because it's a lot of fun. A big thank you to Janine and Dave Rohrbacker for brightening up the community with their driveway game nights. I know lots of neighbors are thankful to have something fun to look forward to and I've heard nothing but happy things about their creative and generous hospitality. My understanding is they even do some social-distanced driveway dancing! My goodness, the Rohrbackers are not going to let an unfortunate pandemic wreck their good time! More power to them and others out there who have gone the extra mile to help neighbors in need and cheer up those who need a morale boost. It's folks like you who keep Four Seasons on the "Top 10 most friendly and desirable communities to live in" list. Thankfully, we've got some great people living here! The official Activities Department events and opportunities are listed now on both the Daily Report which comes out 5 days a week as well as the new Activities Corner Blast that comes out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Some people have missed the Activity Corner Blast because it looks nearly the same in your email box. I'm trying to be as flexible and creative as I can in thinking up new ways and activities to keep the community uplifted and engaged. If you have a great idea that you think we might be able to trym connect with me at The Lodge or email me at cindy.graves@fsresidential.com. I'm so thrilled with the number of people who are willing to work with me to develop some cool offerings for the community. Another big thank you goes to Colin Taylor and John Horning who put together our beginning Magic Class and free magic tool kit! We had a good number of residents take advantage of that. What a blast! Keep your eyes out for all kinds of fun and exciting new entertainments in July, August, and beyond. Thank you also for the love and support extended to me and my team as we keep putting things out there. We miss seeing you everyday! If you ever go into the Bistro, be sure to stop by and rattle my cage. It means more than you'll ever know.
