FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2020 5 POTTED PLANTS AND YARD ART Did you know you must have Architectural Review Committee acceptance for any yard art or potted plants? Even if you keep them on the front patio, if it can be viewed from the street or sidewalk also known as Common Area you must have prior approval. This does not mean ARC does not approve yard art, potted plants, or wall art. In fact, if you drive around this impressive community you will see how so many residents have given their home character and curb appeal with a few decorative items and potted plant life. Recent inspections of the community have noted that homes that have had decorative items approved in the past have added more over time without prior approval. We have had reports of homes that have potentially done this throughout the community and have been addressing them during our regular weekly inspections. Not all the reports turn out to be violations and we are happy to report most have complied with our courtesy letters quickly. If you suspect you may have added a few things to your yard over the years you may want to take a look around. If you just love what you have in place and want to apply for Architectural Review Committee approval, please come by The Lodge to pick up an application, we would be happy to help with any questions you may have to ensure a complete application and speedy ARC process. As a reminder, garden hoses must be removed from view after use or stored in a weather proof container. Trash containers must be stored out of view between collection days, trash is collected Tuesdays. Please do not place trash containers out before 5 pm, Monday and remove them by dusk on Tuesday.
