Yes, for the umpteenth time I am asking pet owners to please refrain from letting your dog urinate on your fellow neighbor's lawns. The residents work very hard to keep up their lawns and with summer here, the challenge increases with the heat. Urine kills the grass unless it is immediately diluted with water. Several owners have asked me to remind pet owners. The corner lots that have grass seem to be more of a target. If you bring a bottle of water with you, and your dog goes potty on someone's lawn, pour some water on the spot. At least it'll help that neighbor out. I haven't mentioned dogs going number two and reminding residents to pick up after their dogs. Oh wait, I just did! Anyway, please continue to be a responsible pet owner. Home Maintenance Well, due to the "stay at home" order ordered by Governor Newsom in March, we have refrained from sending out violation letters that involved going to a business to purchase maintenance related items such as paint, fence stain etc. Now that a lot of businesses are open, our property inspections will be re- focusing on homes in need of maintenance, painting, landscaping replacement etc. Please take a look at the exterior of your home and if it needs painting, please remember the ARC Standards: "Before commencing with any alteration, modification, painting, landscaping, etc., residents must obtain written approval of the ARC." PLEASE GET APPROVAL FIRST! As of this writing, The Lodge, Bistro and pool are still closed to guests and most likely will be for the Fourth of July holiday. The Board of Directors and management is closely monitoring the Riverside County COVID-19 website and if or when the County Health Officer relaxes the current restrictions, the Board will certainly review their updates and direct management to notify the community accordingly. We've come a long way since March and the Governor's announcing we are in "Stage 3" may be just around the corner. May you and your family have a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July!
