| OHCC LIVING | JULY 2020 | 5 By Scott Lemieux, CPS Director Greetings OHCC residents and staff. As we reach the half way point of 2020, I want to thank everyone that has been supportive of Community Patrol and our ongoing efforts to provide the highest quality of service to OHCC. The past couple of months have presented unique "opportunities" to develop solutions in a cooperative and constantly evolving environment. Again, I extend my appreciation to residents and staff in assisting CPS during these interesting times. As a reminder, Sundays and holidays are reserved as "noise free" days. This means that gardeners, contractors, etc. will be notified by CPS officers at the Front Gate that if a noise complaint is received by CPS, they will receive a warning by CPS officers and if a second noise complaint is received for that day, they will be asked to leave the community and the resident will be cited for violation of rules and regulations. I recommend that residents, if possible, schedule or reschedule with respect to holidays, their gardeners and contractors to provide their services on non-"noise free" days. Thank you. The issue of good neighbor relations extends to dog ownership as well. Please be aware of how frequently your dog's barking is likely to have a negative impact on your neighbors. This is exacerbated by the pandemic guidelines we're all adjusting to. Please be courteous to your neighbors. Thank you. In the event of an emergency on the golf course, specifically medical, call 911 first and if able, please contact the Front Gate. CPS will respond once 911 is dispatched. The Front Gate is alerted by the Pulse Point platform which is linked to the NorthCom EMS dispatch system. All CPS officers are qualified and equipped to provide basic first aid, CPR and AED if necessary. As always, if you have any questions or recommendations, please feel free to contact me at the Front Gate and I'd be happy to assist you. Please remember to abide by posted speed limits and obey all traffic signs. Safety is the objective, not citations. We all contribute to the culture of safety within the community. Safety doesn't happen by accident. Community Patrol Services Thank you to all who contributed to the North County Food Bank Drive, especially to our neighbors on Arcadia Way who filled our wagon to overflowing. ~ Sue and Frank Tanner Thank you!
