32 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2020
Just in case: Check with your club contact to confirm meeting place, date, and time.
Summer is here and the heat is on!
Our mission is unchanged, to learn, share and have fun with
photography. But during the "Big Chill Spring/Summer 2020" we
execute the mission in a different way.
In July we initially thought we might be able to resume meetings in
person, sadly now with the surge in COVID-19 cases, those plans are
being rolled back a bit. So we are putting together a Zoom meeting
plan that should launch by the time you read this article.
We have also built suggestions and safety instructions for what I
call our "Home away from Home" strategy for using our automobiles
as photo blinds to capture images of our area from the safety of our
cars. I have taken several photo road trips now and can attest to its
restorative effects after being on lock down for 120 days as of this
writing. Pick a spot, pack a picnic, and GO.
We are a bit short on photos this month, but below are two double
exposure samples and a cool window image from the scavenger hunt
game. These are intended to get your photo motor running.
I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing about our photo road
trips this month.
Until next we meet, from all of us in the Four Seasons Photography
Club to all of our wonderful neighbors, we send you a big hug. Smile
and say BREEZZZEEEE, and take those pictures! But first and
foremost: Stay in Place – Maintain your Space – Cover your Face. ~
