The 4x4 club has been inactive because of
COVID-19. We'll be back in action from here on.
If you haven't seen the roads and trails east of Sun
Lakes, it's a beautiful area to explore. Some of the
area can be seen in a 2-wheel drive vehicle, some not.
Everyone I've seen stuck in the riverbed out there
all tell me the same thing, "my GPS sent me this way,"
routing to Palm Springs.
During the rain, the river rages with fast moving
water. During the dry season the sand is deep and
soft. Enjoy the pics of stranded travelers and stay
safe.
Anyone not in the club who lives at Four Seasons
and has a four wheel drive vehicle that they don't
mind getting dirty and maybe a little desert
pinstriped, is welcome to come to our monthly
meetings. The meetings are the first Tuesday of the
month (COVID-19 permitting), 6 pm in The Lodge
Arts & Crafts Room. The official club outing is on the
following Thursday. Prior to our excursion, we meet
at The Lodge at 7:45 am and roll out at 8 am. Hope to
