| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | August 2020 | 13 We meet the third Monday at 9:30 am via Zoom. Our Mission: The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program is designed to increase individual and community preparedness and self-reliance in the event of man-made or natural disasters. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has officially recognized CERT as an important part of a community's disaster-preparedness readiness. The EPC and Four Seasons CERT Street Captains held an exercise to test emergency radio coverage within our community to be prepared if needed in an emergency. The radio test went well and showed the we have coverage across our entire community. Four Seasons Hemet EPC and CERT efforts are strongly supported by Board of Directors funding and active support. Four Seasons CERT continues to need your participation. Become a Street Captain or CERT Auxiliary. Step up. Be a part of the best CERT in the valley, come make a difference. Emergency preparedness committee Facilities Committee Do we count it a privilege to respect our neighbors? We love our pets! We also care about our neighbors and the appearance of our community. How can we help make a positive difference in maintaining a clean, safe, and quiet environment? By showing consideration when caring for our dogs. Here are some positive suggestions by Four Seasons pet owners: • Keep our dogs from barking excessively and disturbing our neighbors. • Walk our dogs on a leash to keep them safe and avoid disturbing others. • Pick up after our dogs when they make a "deposit." • Dispose of our dog's "deposit" in a proper and considerate manner. • Consider professional dog training — it really works! Our private community is a very special place. We enjoy beautiful surroundings when driving, biking, walking, and talking with our neighbors. Our Association fees provide necessary maintenance and repairs that preserve this oasis in the Hemet Valley. The Facilities Committee is intent on using these funds wisely by progressively maintaining and improving the appearance and functionality of our structures and grounds. We work closely with the other committees to maximize our effectiveness. The cooperation and sensitivity of all the homeowners will contribute greatly to the success of our efforts to keep Four Seasons of Hemet a beautiful, comfortable, and desirable place to enjoy for a long time to come.
