20 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2020 Check with your committee chair to confirm meeting place, date, and time. At our July meeting, we reviewed the June financial statement and recommended items for BOD approval. Highlights of the June financial report follows. Total Assets are $10,301,288 including checking $549,600 and reserve assets of $7,960,722. Operating money market and CDs totaled $1,709,511. Total Liabilities currently are $239,080 and Total Equity of $10,062,207. There was a net income gain for the month of $15,390. Front yard cost center expenses were under budget by $3,567 and Springdale cost center expenses were under budget by $150. Expenses continue to be tracking under budget in the areas of water, landscaping (tree trimming), and administration (legal and payroll). We anticipate these expenses to be on budget in the coming months as we will use more water in warmer weather and with tree trimming in the fall. A finance subcommittee is reviewing operational expenses during the quarantine period to determine if any potential cost savings were gained. A report and recommendation will be presented to the BOD in September for their review and action. A total of nine proposals were reviewed at the meeting. All nine proposals were recommended for board approval but two were forwarded with specific BOD considerations. Five committee persons and Board Liaisons Kathy Craven and Joe Barletta were present via Zoom for the meeting. We encourage you to attend our meetings. There is an opening on the Finance Committee. If interested, please contact Eric Zarr. The next meeting is Sept. 29 at 1 pm in the RCN Conference Room or via Zoom, depending on the current COVID-19 requirements. Please check the Daily Report. ~ Barry Ginnetti, b2ginnetti@ gmail.com Finance Committee Facilities Committee The Facilities Committee recently held our regularly scheduled meeting via Zoom. The projects for new and replacement monument lighting at the bell tower and Green Creek signage, along with the paver rehabilitation at the Potrero entrance, was sent to the Board. A homeowner suggested more seating around Four Seasons Circle. After a walk around, it was determined that another bench could be put in between The Courts and Green Creek. The committee is still in the process of gathering bids for refacing the Bistro counter and a shade cloth over the pergola at The Courts. The roofing project at The Lodge, Spa, and RCN buildings has been completed along with The Summit shower project. The Facilities Committee will meet again via Zoom on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10 am. We always welcome residents to join us. ~ Gino Domico, Gdomico@gmail.com
