Well, here we are in September, the Clubhouse is still
closed, and we have no room assignments. Members will be
informed of any programming by email as events come up.
Until this pandemic is over, all in-person performances are on hold.
Let this be a reminder that the Theatre Arts Club stands shoulder-
to-shoulder (and six ft apart) with the staff and residents in keeping
each other healthy.
Actors' Workshop and Readers' Theater has ceased gathering
in public. It is, however, open for new members. For information,

Couples, by Sean Grennan, our latest Zoom play reading, was
performed Aug. 5. We've added new and exciting technical wizardry,
which has allowed the actors, director and producer greater
freedom to provide the Village with superb entertainment.
Thanks to our director, Patricia Moran Collins, producer, Anita
Simons, and the actors (left to right, top to bottom): Janice Pelcher,
Joe Ashby, Sherrie Scoby, Naomi B Katz, Ros Nesler, Emalee Lasser
and Joe Lasser. Not to be omitted are the understudies, Patty Inis,
Valerie Thompson, Sunny Griffin, Maureen Schneider and Dee
Wardell. All of you made the show a resounding success.
Members, please keep your eyes on your email inboxes and tubes
for our next Zoom auditions and production.
Anita Simons was appointed as the nominating committee
chairperson. If any member is interested in being on the Board,

General meetings are usually held the first Monday at 7 pm in
Abravanel Hall. Please check your email for exact location, date and
time. Only members will be informed of upcoming live events. See
how much bang you get for your $10 annual dues.
