Hello September! I don't know about all of you, but I'm definitely ready
for some cooler weather and autumn leaves.
The Annual Election is coming upon us quickly. In light of the new
election laws, the Board of Directors have contracted with HOA Election
Experts LLC to facilitate the entire election process including the mailings
and the Inspector of Election duties. If you are interested in running for
one of the three open seats on the Board of Directors, please submit your
2020 Statement of Candidacy no later than 5 pm on Monday, September 7,
2020. The completed forms must be mailed to HOA Election Experts LLC,
6371 Haven Ave., Suite 3-281, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737 or you may
submit them via e-mail at info@hoaelectionexperts.com. HOA Election
Experts LLC will be sending out the Candidate List to the membership on
September 10, 2020 with the complete ballot package to follow on October
12, 2020.
SDV was created for people with an active lifestyle. Volunteering to help
with your community is an integral part of its success. There are many
opportunities for you to get involved, either a little or a lot, depending on
the amount of time you have to contribute. Please consider submitting a
Volunteer Interest Form for the any of following committees:
• Communications Advisory Committee
• Design Review Committee
• Emergency Preparedness Advisory Committee
• Financial Advisory Committee
• Recreation Advisory Committee
• Welcome Committee
If you have questions about what is involved with any of these
committees, I encourage you to reach out to the Chairperson for the
committee you are interested in. If any of these committees sound like fun
or a way to utilize your unique skills, please submit your Volunteer Interest
Form(s) by September 30, 2020. If you would like to be considered for
multiple committees, please complete separate forms. All forms will be
considered by the Board at the October Open Session meeting.
Please be sure to read the enclosed article regarding under-aged
occupants. This is a subject that has been getting a lot of attention lately
and I hope that the information provided herein will help clarify the rules
and the enforcement process.
