& Gents
Have fun in Florida!
The Pink Ukuladies & Gents bid a
drive-by farewell to Lily Fedotowsky
on Aug. 17. Although she will be
missed, it was a festive occasion with
pink streamers, signs and balloons
in her honor. She was an amazing
director and teacher of the ukulele
group, transposing from simple to difficult chords for many
who were beginners and had never played an instrument.
Lily coordinated with Mark Faber, Director of the Sun Lakes
Chorale, and the Pink Ukuladies & Gents were included with
the chorale in two performances on the stage of the Ballroom.
She said, "Of all the places I've lived in my life, Sun Lakes has
given me the best memories for many friends and wonderful
activities I've participated in."
Lily and Alex, her talented guitarist husband, will relocate
to the Sarasota, Florida, area where they have family. Lily, we
will miss you.
