36 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2020 Check with your club contact to confirm meeting place, date, and time. Our mission: to learn, share, and have fun with photography. In the next few Breeze articles we will be providing testimonials from members on how FSPC has enriched their photography experience. Our first essay is by the very talented John Baeyertz, one of our founding members. From John Baeyertz: The Four Seasons Photography Club is a real asset to anyone who wants to learn more about photography. I joined the club in 2014 and have gained new skills each year. You can be working at any level and profit from the club meetings. We learn both the technical and artistic skills needed to create striking photographs. We have members working at every stage. Some are using their cell phones, while others are using advanced digital cameras. We also discuss and learn about photo editing software. Has the club helped me? I learned many new techniques, our leader Renae Stueve and members challenge us to try new modes of working. I believe I can claim to have learned a few things with a bit of success, both the June and August Breeze covers were my photos. You will find a warm welcome at the Photography Club. If you are inspired to create photographs, whether family pictures or works of art, I highly recommend the club. At any skill level, you will be welcomed and might be surprised by the photographer inside you. Don't forget to check out our Photo Friday blast in the Daily Report and on the FS Activity Corner page on the website. Join our Zoom meetings: every third Tuesday at 6:30 pm for our regular Photography Club gathering and the first and third Thursday afternoons at 1 pm for our Study Group on Photo Enhancement. Email ReNaeStueve@outlook.com for Zoom information. From all of us in the Four Seasons Photography Club to all of our wonderful neighbors we send you a big hug. Smile and say BREEZZZEEEE, and take those pictures! We hope to see you soon! But first and foremost, Stay in Place – Maintain your Space – Cover your Face. ~ ReNae Stueve Photography Club The images provided are from Howard Levine illustrating quick and easy processing adjustment results in before and after format.
