Computer Group Our September Zoom meeting gave us insight on how to do a System Restore on Windows 10. It concluded with a presentation by Jere Minsch on "Employing and utilizing Windows 10 Security/ Privacy Settings." Participants were assured that Windows 10 is pretty robust when it comes to recovering from problems that might stop it from working properly but they were cautioned that there may come a time when manual intervention is needed. With that in mind, the group was given new, additional options on how to utilize Microsoft's latest recovery tools, security, and privacy settings. It was noted that System Restore is quite a useful tool which allows you to rewind your Windows installation to an earlier working state without affecting your documents. So if something were to go wrong, you would be able to return to the last Restore Point (or an even earlier one) to turn back time and get things performing as they were previously. The general consensus was that this new insight/ information was extremely helpful. We meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 10:30 am. ~ Larry Workman While all of us struggle with the pandemic and social issues, the Rainbow Group is optimistic that we will soon be able to resume much of our lives as before. There are sure to be differences, but we will still support the Four Seasons LGBT community and our neighbors as best we can. We have been reminded that our friendships are vital to all of us. We did enjoy the virtual Zoom Rainbow meeting last month! As of this writing, some Four Seasons activities are resuming, many with restrictions. We are hopeful that we will be able to again hold our monthly meeting. We will update the Rainbow Group Facebook page and email list with any late breaking developments. In the meantime, mark your calendars for Thursday, Oct. 22 at 6 pm for our monthly meeting in the Card Room at The Lodge, or again by Zoom. We hope this finds our members, friends and families safe, doing well and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon. We have a LOT of catching up to do!
