Join us for an afternoon of friendship and fun while playing a game of Hand and Foot Canasta. We meet Thursdays in the RCN Main Room from 12:45 to 4 pm. Table assignments are distributed at 12:45 pm. Each week you may play with someone different, giving you an opportunity to meet new friends and/or visit with old friends. We supply the cards, so just bring yourself and a desire to have fun. If you don't know how to play, we are always happy to set up a teaching table — by the end of the afternoon you will have mastered the game. Come join us. ~ Pam Morales Three Thirteen 20,000 Canasta We have received emails about playing outside The Lodge with masks. While we miss playing with the group as much as everyone else, it is our belief that it is just too difficult to play Three Thirteen safely — unless we want to discard the cards in the center of a six- foot circle. All joking aside, Three Thirteen is usually played in The Lodge Game Room on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 3 pm. When the all clear is given, we will notify you here, online at fourseasonsbeaumont.org, by email, and in the Daily Report. For more information, contact Cheri Howard at (951) 756-1216. ~ Cheri Howard Canasta Dominoes The Domino Group is trying to develop a plan or strategy so that we can play dominoes safely during this coronavirus. We presented some suggestions to the Four Seasons management team. We asked if we could play dominoes outside if we wore masks and practiced social distancing. Hopefully, we will get the green light to go with this plan. We will just keep our fingers crossed and hope that we get an approval or response soon. In the meantime, everyone be safe, wear your masks, and keep practicing social distancing. The coronavirus is not going away. We just have to find ways to live and cope with it.
