| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2020 | 19 "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1. As we enter our eighth month of isolation, it seems only fitting that it parallel the autumn solstice. The changing of seasons stirs within each of us many different emotions. Reflective of the past, we are reminded of far simpler days, while at the same time we are excited about the future. It is within this hope that we experience renewal — an energy which keeps us moving and growing. Just ask our neighbors, Joe, Taryn, and Rose, Proprietors of Cagliero Ranch Nursery. This year to date, they experienced their greatest year ever, thanks to our 'energy' of wanting to be outside growing and moving. The same energy courses through the veins of our members, enlightening one another since we formed our club. This year in May, Late Bloomers quietly celebrated its first anniversary of Gardening Enthusiasts, coming together in the shared passion for all things earth. Grounded (pun intended) in our passion, we may be forced to 'share' separately, however we remain appurtenant to one another through rewards reaped from the same strength. Observing our plants, under both good conditions and adverse, teaches us that like an ever-growing vine, striving upward is only possible from strong roots. We are here for our Four Seasons family.
