The extraordinary Ocean Hills Country
Club residents have outdone themselves
with their generosity! Our Woodchuck
thanks go to the OHCC Garden Club
members for their well-planned and well-
executed Holiday Donation Drive-Thru.
Santa's Garden Club elves collected the
gifts as the cars lined up in the overflow
parking lot. Hundreds of toys, gift cards,
and $15,000+ in cash will allow the kids of Camp Pendleton to
enjoy a tremendous holiday season. We shared smiles behind
our masks as we basked in the much-needed fellowship of
that Saturday morning. We are truly fortunate to live in this
phenomenal community. Pictured, are Cindi DeWeese and Jeanne
Brantman, Garden Club Co-Presidents, with a grateful Woodchuck
President, Tom Murphy.
Our Woodchuck Board of Directors is working with the Camp
Pendleton YMCA to make the most of your gifts. Pictured, are
two of our most productive Master Toy Builders, Goldie Weis and
Mitch Mc Carroll. We pulled pre-COVID photos from last winter
to reveal their joy in toy building. The Woodchucks are back in
production and continue to build the handcrafted heirloom toys
that add so much to the holiday time in OHCC. If you would like
