We continue to have online Happy Hour Dance Parties via Zoom.
Although the dance floor was in our own homes, and the DJ was at his
home studio, we were still listening or dancing to the same music at
the same time. It was great to enjoy music and spend time "together."
There was dancing, swaying, trivia games, and conversation. We
saw some familiar faces and met some new people. CJ the DJ kept us
entertained and involved with screen tips so we can get the most out
of the Zoom functions.
Our themes were The Best Dance Hits thru' the Years and Escape
to Margaritaville. One of Jimmy Buffet's songs is very appropriate for
these times:
It's these changes in latitudes, changes in attitude
Nothing remains quite the same
With all of our running and all of our cunning
If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane
To help keep us laughing, we will have more of these Happy Hours
for Doo Wop members until we can all party on the same dance floor
again.
