Our community's generous response to the recent drive-through event supporting the Woodchucks' annual holiday project was a wonderful experience for all involved. And it was YOU — Ocean Hills residents — who made it a huge success. You not only brought gifts to share, you brought your smiles and positive energy along with your generous spirit. We continue to receive feedback about how much everyone enjoyed supporting this worthy cause. And the results were phenomenal! The entire event was teamwork at its very best. We extend a great big thanks to Clubhouse management and staff for their support and setup, and to Securitas for their professionalism as they kept the drive-through organized and safe — and of course to the Woodchucks for their endless energy and commitment to bringing holiday joy to the children and families at Camp Pendleton. The OHCC community certainly proved once again that 'it takes a Village.' In the midst of a pandemic, everyone came through with flying colors to support each other's efforts in making a difference in the lives of our military families. It was a wonderful example of the sense of community that we all appreciate and enjoy here in OHCC. Thank you to everyone who made the event possible and successful! The Garden Club board continues to meet and plan as we look forward to when we can resume our regular programs to support our garden-loving members. In the meantime, we hope you will continue to enjoy the natural beauty and the human beauty of this 'Village' we call home.
