GENERAL MANAGER'S
MESSAGE By Anna Machado
COFFEE WITH THE CREW
VIA ZOOM
October 1 at 9 am. Directions on how to
access will be sent by email. See article
above for more details!
We are quickly approaching the November 12 Annual Meeting. The
ballots will be mailed to the membership by October 12. As a reminder, the
election materials were prepared by a third party company, HOA Election
Experts. Please note, the layout and style of their notices and ballots will be
different than what you have received in the past. If you have any questions
about any election materials you receive or if you do not receive the election
materials, please contact the office for assistance.
I want to again remind everyone that face coverings/masks are still
required to be worn when visiting the facilities. We are still encountering
many residents who are not wearing masks properly or in some cases, not
wearing them at all. This simply cannot happen. Please make sure that you
are wearing your masks over your nose when you visit The Lodge.
Last month the entrance trellises and monuments were repainted.
Additionally, the wood benches at the entrance to The Lodge were re-
stained and the fireplace on the back patio was repaired and repainted. This
completed work dramatically improved the appearance of these components;
if you haven't seen them yet, check it out!
The article about under-aged occupants was mistakenly left out of the
September edition of The View. It appears this month on page 6; please read
it. This is a subject that has been getting a lot of attention lately and I hope
that the information provided will help clarify the rules and the enforcement
process.
Gratitude For November, we'd like to hear what you are thankful
for in this difficult year. Please send us your thoughts, 200 words maximum,
no later than Oct. 7. If you have a picture to include, we'd love to see that as
well. Put "Gratitude" in the subject line. Email soleradv@yahoo.com.
