30 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | NOVEMBER 2020 | Chorale The Chorale of Sun Lakes will not be meeting again this year, although we are working on a plan to bring our annual Holiday Concert to the community on Channel 97 in December. We hope to meet again as a Chorale in January 2021 to prepare for a Spring Concert. To maintain our connection as a Chorale family, we meet via ZOOM every Monday morning at 9:30 am. Interested residents are welcome to join us. We have room for 100 guests. There is a simple YouTube video called "Joining a Zoom Call for the First Time; Fun and Easy Online Connection." It explains the easy steps to join a Zoom call for the first time. It is so difficult to realize that this year is fast coming to an end. The quick passing of time could be due to the fact that the days run into a blur of sameness because of the quarantine rules we have been under these past months. This has been a year unlike any other I can think of ever. Many of us look forward to singing holiday songs at Karaoke around this tine of year. You may possibly have karaoke fun over the holidays with family members, but for most of us who love to share songs in an open setting like the ones we have enjoyed here at Sun Lakes with Barb Miller, Rosie Ingalls, and D.J. Blast, well, we can only hope for things to get back to normal at some date in a not too distant future. As for now, I think a list of songs having to do with time is in order. 1. Time Is On My Side, The Rolling Stones 2. Time In A Bottle, Jim Croce 4. Time Won't Let Me, The Outsiders 6. Wait A Million Years, The Grass Roots 8. Tired Of Waiting, The Kinks 10. Slow Poke, Pee Wee King 12. Born Too Late, The Poni-Tails 14. Wait For Me, The Playmates 16. Those Were The Days, Mary Hopkin 18. The Waiting, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers 20. Yesterday, The Beatles 22. Yesterday Once More, The Carpenters 24. Long Ago And Far Away, Jo Stafford 26. Yesterday When I Was Young, Roy Clark 28. I'll Remember You, Elvis Presley 30. Long Long Time, Linda Ronstadt 32. Long Time, Boston 34. Funny How Time Slips Away, Jimmy Elledge 36. Time Has Come Today, The Chambers Brothers 38.
