Tournaments this month will be the fourth and final Quarterly/ Eclectic tournament on Wed., Nov. 4, followed by the annual Sun Lakes Challenge Cup contest between us and the Executive Men's Club, in mid-November. The Men's Club Championship was held on Sept. 23, 25 and 26. There were three flights and this year's Club Champion is Bob Blair; Senior Champion is Ric Dalton and Super Seniors Champion is Brian Howlett. Congratulations! (See photos below.) We are looking for new members to join us. The dues are $70 ($34 goes towards men's club dues and $36 pays for maintaining your S.C.G.A. / GHIN handicap). We have a tournament on the third Friday of the month followed by a catered lunch in the North Clubhouse, however, there will be no lunches until the resolution of the pandemic. The Executive Men's Club meets on Friday mornings at 9 am for a shotgun start. There is a Two-Man Best Net pick your partner tournament scheduled for Nov. 20. All levels of golfers are welcome in the club. Come join us! Membership dues are only $30 per year. New member forms are available in the North Pro Shop or on the EMGC website. Saturday Morning Golf Are you still working and looking for a weekend golf option? Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with a 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15.
