This year as we enter our season of Thanksgiving, our landscape
looks a bit different from years gone by. Unfamiliar challenges
continue to be a large part of our daily lives, and getting together
with loved ones has most of us getting creative. As we learn to adapt,
while improvising, may we also overcome. There are blessings in
everything when we have the courage to look for them.
Many of us are doing just that. We are tilling the soil, planting
new seeds, and blooming, graciously, where we are planted. As I
walk through our community, I am overwhelmed by the beauty and
creativity of individual landscapes. Like me, you went outside in late
March, stayed there, and your blooming landscapes speak volumes to
your talented green thumbs! Thank you for your inspiration.
Like our gardens, we too thrive on being watered, fed, and
nurtured. We cannot expect a bountiful harvest if we are unwilling
to sow the seeds of thanksgiving. Being thankful, and giving thanks,
isn't always easy. But the reward we receive for trying is found in the
blessings we so earnestly seek.
Hopefully, we will not have to endure being apart for very much
longer. In the meantime, we are here for our Four Seasons family.
