Join us on Wednesday, Nov. 18 with Brookdale Murrieta in these informative and interactive talk sessions discussing Alzheimer's Awareness via Zoom. Thursday, Nov. 12 – 10 am, Dementia & Alzheimer's Support Group via Zoom. This support group, presented by Kristi Necochea, is designed to educate and support those who are caring for a loved one with dementia. We meet the second Thursday of each month. Create Special Memories Craft Day Wednesday, Nov. 18, 5 - 7 pm The Holiday Season is upon us, and Brookdale Murrieta has once again invited Colony residents to join in on a fun day of crafts. Enjoy delicious refreshments as you create unique crafts. Be creative, get silly and, most importantly, share in the fun and laughter while getting into the holiday spirit. Sign up today with Robin Frye, (951) 696-5753, at Brookdale Murrieta to receive the Zoom login information as well as receive a delivery of refreshments. Virtual Craft Fair and Holiday Boutique Nov. 7 – Dec. 23 Just because the Clubhouse is not open does not mean that the Colony Craft Fair tradition will not live on! This year all of our talented Colony crafters will be selling their goods from the comfort of their own home. You can find photos, product descriptions and contact information on The Colony website under the Craft Fair tab, or a list can be provided to you by the Activities Office. Don't miss this chance to get some Christmas shopping done all within the Colony gates! Attention Colony residents! The Vista Murrieta High School Student Senate is encouraging its pen pals program this year and the Senators are hoping to have as many participants as possible. Vista Senators are dedicated to writing and communicating with all participants once a week. If you are interested in participating in its fun pen pal program, please contact me at the Activities Office. They would love to get to know many of you through this special writing exchange.
