Remember, if you play golf often, to sign up for one of the 2021 annual membership golf rates. Main Course annual membership includes play on the Executive Course at no additional charge. Our scheduled December golf tournaments will be the Jack Dutton Tournament of Champions (Individual Stroke) on Wed., Dec. 2, along with the Gold Tee Tournament (Individual Stroke) on Wed., Dec. 9. Current Members: All memberships are required to be renewed on Jan. 1, 2021. The membership dues are $70 (i.e., $34 is for men's club dues and $36 to maintain a GHIN handicap). To be included in the 2021 Men's Golf Club Directory, we must receive your application by Dec. 15. Sun Lakers who no longer play golf on the championship course or desire having a GHIN handicap are encouraged to subscribe to our social membership for $34. This entitles you to participate in our quarterly luncheons, meetings, receive our Breeze newsletters and join us for our gatherings on the veranda and year end awards dinner. New Men's Club members may sign up now for activation on Dec. 1. This is for new first-time members only! Stop by the pro shop and ask for a men's club sign up form, fill it out, attach a check for $70 payable to SLMGC and we will get you your GHIN number and activate it on the USGA website. If you currently have an active GHIN number, we can transfer your GHIN number from another club. Again, membership forms are available in the main Pro Shop. Men's Golf The Executive is an 18 Hole course with six challenging par fours and lots of water. We have a tournament on the third Friday of the month followed by a catered lunch in the North Clubhouse; however, there will be no lunches until the resolution of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Executive Men's Club meets on Friday mornings at 8:50 for a 9 am shotgun start. There are no tournaments scheduled for the month of December. All levels of golfers are welcome in the club. Come join us! Membership dues are only $30 per year. New membership forms are available in the North Pro Shop or on the EMGC website. Saturday Morning Golf Are you still working and looking for a weekend golf option? Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with a 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15.
