Dinner Dance Club
The Dinner Dance Club officers voted to close the club as of
Nov. 1, 2020. There is a combination of reasons for this decision.
Primarily, no clear pathway to continuing our activities is visible at
this time. The Master Board has not indicated when the clubhouse
will be available for gatherings like ours, nor is there any indication
that Riverside County will allow these gatherings of people any time
soon. It is likely that 2021 will also be a COVID-19 year requiring the
use of masks. Several of our club members have indicated they don't
want to gather until a vaccine is available and administered. Our last
dance was in February 2020 and our fiscal year ended on July 31,
2020. Rather than carry over the funds from 2019-2020 indefinitely,
it was decided to refund each member's dues and close the club. If
and when it is safe to gather for dancing, we can consider whether to
re-form our club and resume our dinner dances.
Thank you all for your participation and loyalty in the past. May
God bless us all in the days ahead!
The Stardust Dancers welcome two new dancers to their group, Carlie Beakes and Donna Leone. Both women are
very enthusiastic and fun to work with. We look forward to seeing them perform with the group real soon.
