Hello to all Colony residents. We
hope that on this "not so much fun year
2020" everyone enjoyed their "not so
scary" Halloween, "not so traditional"
Thanksgiving and will make the best of
celebrating a Happy Hanukkah, Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year!
The RV Club had planned for three or
four trips in 2020 but, due to the virus
regulations, we were only able to have
one trip. In early October we went to
Cottonwood, AZ (near Sedona). We had
28 members who attended the four-day,
fun-filled event. We enjoyed activities
at the campsites, the beautiful scenery
nearby, hiking, train tours, jeep tours and
touring historical sites.
Sharon Smith and Laura Willis
provided the Halloween theme
decorations and were the hosts for the
"party central" site. Scott and Rani Ross
hosted the Margarita Cocktail Parties.
Laurie Frere and Lisa Schrader were
sports and games coordinators and
hosted the Movie Night (RV with Robin
Williams). Mike and Dana VanScoy
provided the snack basket every night
for Bingo and Left Right Center. Pat and
Linda Kight shared their EZ UP and
portable fire ring. Thanks to all of you
who made this so much fun!
We hope that positive changes will be
forthcoming by 2021 so we can plan for
three or four trips next year. Our goal is
for the first trip to be in early spring of
2021.
