What a difference! At last golf is back. Pictured above is the
foursome of Suzanne, Darlene, Carrie, and Natalie checking in and
ready to win the A division… which they did. B division was won
by Kathy Hunt, Ellin Whitson, Alison Vincent, and Gloria Whitman.
The row of carts (pictured at right) signals golf is on. And a bunch
of guys not knowing what they are doing, but ready to do it (in the top
pic). Guys A two man scramble was won by Randy Royter and Wayne
Worsley. B was won by Dan Okada and Bernie Alfonso. I will get to
the Ds and Cs in the next issue.
Holes in one were preceded by three of them made before
tournaments restarted. They were by the Gil of Parsle, #11, and the
sort or reputable Bob Fisher #11. Both of these guys claim they have
paid witnesses.
A really special hole in one by the inimitable, the unique, and
talented Sue Smith, #15, who has been singing "All I want for
Christmas is a Hole in One" at our annual Xmas sing along for so
many years I have lost count. So GOOD ON YOU SUE. Lastly, the
official tournament hole in one goes to Lin Chu Lien on #16.
It is so very good to have golf back. I just want to encourage you all
to mind the rules so that we don't have to close down again.
