10 10 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2020 | | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2020 | Social Committee Happy holidays! The Social Committee wishes everyone a joyous holiday season celebrating with friends and family to the best of your ability during this special time of year. Hopefully your Thanksgiving was enjoyable, and you saved room for more delicacies because however your family celebrates this time of year, surely there will lots of yummy treats to eat! We hope you enjoy the pictures of our Halloween Parade held in conjunction with the Golf Cart Club. A special thank you to Mike and Donna McLaughlin for organizing the parade and providing the decorations for the outside area of The Lodge. Mike and Donna are very appreciative of the turnout for this first-time event. There were approximately 30 golf carts participating! Carts were decorated with spider webs, Halloween garland, lights, pumpkins, skeletons, ghosts, even The Paw Patrol made an appearance! Costumes were a who's who of Halloween… including witches, ghosts, hippies, cowboys, sock hoppers, Count Dracula, the mummy, a werewolf, Sergeant Pepper and the Grim Reaper. Bill and Karen Hirschman were chosen to receive a Bistro certificate for their RIP cart… Congratulations! Thanks to everyone who participated in the parade and to those cheering on from their driveways. As announced in last month's Herald, New Year's Eve plans this year are quite different and pending state and county regulations. When more information becomes available it will be distributed through eblasts. As this issue of the Herald closes out another year here in Four Seasons, the Social Committee is looking forward, as all of you are as well, to a better, brighter 2021! Bill and Karen Hirschman won the grand prize!
