sun lakers at canyon lanes The winter season ended last month with the sweepers. Patti Brickner (810 series) and Paul Gomez (782 series) were the top contenders for the ladies and men. The "Here We Go" team (Bud Miner, Bonnie Greene, Teri and Dan Comerford) finished in first place, winning by one point. Marti Steggell (168 avg.) and George Thiel (207 avg.) had the high averages for the ladies and gents. Each year we acknowledge the man and lady who are the most improved bowlers, and this year it went to a great husband and wife team, Ginger and George Chavez, good job! Thus, the season ended. Teams have already started their summer season, 15 weeks before gearing up for winter again. Ray's series of 603, including games of 232 and 206 and Darrell's 213 and 550 series climaxed the morning!!
