Charity Week: $1 Million Year "ACTIVITIES" ARE THE HIGHLIGHT OF THIS YEAR'S CHARITY WEEK! This year the Charity Week Committee has gone all out to ensure that "Our Million Dollar Year" is just that! While we typically have events scheduled from Wednesday through Sunday, this year we start off with a bang with a brand new event on Mon., June 24! Here is what we have planned for each day, and how YOU can get involved: 18-HOLE PITCH & PUTT TOURNAMENT Mon., June 24 The tournament starts at 12:30 pm on the Executive Golf Course, using a scaled down version of this course. While entries of already formed teams are encouraged, we will gladly accept single entrants that will be assigned to a team. We will have prize winners in All Men's, Mixed and All Women's teams. The tournament's grand prize is a wedge for each of the four members of the winning team! The entry fee is $15 pp and all entries qualify as a charitable deduction. PANCAKE BREAKFAST & HELICOPTER BALL DROP Tues., June 25 A 9 am Pancake Breakfast precedes the 11 am Helicopter Ball Drop, scheduled earlier to avoid the winds so we are guaranteed to have a Helicopter drop the balls this year! Pinnacle Medical Group is our sponsor. The Pancake Breakfast will be $5 pp, and the tickets for your "numbered" ball will sell for $10 per ball, all vying to end up in the hole of the temporary "Green" on our driving range or closest to it for a grand prize of $1000! There will be additional prizes for the next closest balls. MONSTER SCRAMBLE TOURNAMENT Thurs., June 27 This VERY popular event will start at 9 am on the Executive Course, a course that has been drastically changed, overnight. It's still a 4-person scramble with Callaway scoring and prizes paid to the top three low gross & net teams in Men's, Women's and Mixed Categories. The $45 pp entry includes the golf, lunch on the Veranda, two free mulligans, and one raffle ticket for one of four Scottsdale TR Putters. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased for 1 for $1, or 6 for $5. PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ! - A ROARING TWENTIES GALA Fri., June 28 How "Snazzy" can you dress? We can't wait to see! The festivities start with champagne and hors d'oeurvres in the "speak-easy" (the Veranda), followed by a Gourmet Dinner from three choices, and a special dessert. We will feature dance music led by the Hotsy Totsy Band until 10 pm. Sign-ups for this $57 pp ritzy shindig will be held on one day only, June 5, from 9:30 to 12:30 pm. Don't miss this one; it'll be THE event of the entire summer! PRO-AM GOLF SHOOT-OUT & COOKOUT LUNCH Sat., June 29 At 9 am, we reprise our annual 9-hole Shoot-Out on the Championship Course's back nine, paring 10 teams of our community's amateurs with Sunday's pros. It's a hoot and the ultimate for following the field in your golf cart! The Pro's play for prize money and our guys play for prestige, but the amateur of the winning duo wins a driver! After the shoot-out, IN-N-OUT® will be cooking lunch out of one of their mobile cookout kitchens. Lunch tickets will be available for $10.50, which will include an IN-N-OUT® CHARITY FASHION SHOW & LUNCHEON Wed., June sandwich of your choice (including up to a Double-Double®, if 26 "Dress Like a Million," the theme for this year's Charity you wish), a bag of chips and a 20 oz. drink. Week Fashion Show, will start at 10:45 am. Check in at the Veranda lobby doors then shop in the Boutique. Everyone PRO-AM GOLF TOURNAMENT & RAFFLE DRAWING will then proceed to the Ballroom where the doors will open Sun., June 30 This premier golfing event begins at 9 am.
