Knitting & Crocheting Everything is status quo in the group. We're still working on the same project and some personal items. Some lap throws have been finished and are very nice. They will not be donated until later in the year. Join us Tuesdays from 10 to 11:30 am. We're a fun group. See you there. ~ Dorothy Payne Camera Club We meet the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Lodge Craft Room. Our June meeting is June 18. We invite all photographers, regardless of skill level, to join us for our meetings and other field trips. Members are always eager to help and teach. Each month, we have an assignment to take and bring in a photograph of a different genre. Then, we show and discuss. We encourage you to attend even if you decide not to bring a picture. We are looking forward to seeing new faces. We have a lot of fun including photo outings, guest speakers, shows of work, and general sharing of ideas. Last month, we combined our Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 class with that of the Sun Lakes Camera Club and it was a huge success! We may repeat this class in the future due to demand. They're very cute. We hope to get one done to show in the July Breeze. It is great fun for the grandkids to snatch a lollipop from this cute bunny. Come join the fun. The Ceramic class has been hard at work on tea pots, mushrooms and hand cast planters for this year's Fashion Show & Tea. Each item has been hand painted with such love and each one is one of a kind. A big thank you goes out to my students for all your help. Others students are painting corn on the cob plates, bamboo and safari planters, giraffes and elephants. Upcoming projects will be a kitchen canister set with hummingbirds and flowers, hand cast bird houses, and back by popular demand hand cast zucchini plates and bowls, as long as my plant will last. He took over for me while I was recovering from a serious illness. Thank you Pete for doing such a terrific job! I'm so happy to be able to return as leader as we continue with a new series of studies taken from the Book of 1Peter; this is on the topic of How to live life God's Way. We meet in the Ballroom on Tuesdays, from 7 to 8. The club provides an opportunity for us to meet others in Four Seasons, and a chance to encourage and strengthen one another in our walk of faith.
