Family, Travel, Restaurants… the list goes on and on making plans for 2021. However, there is a specific event I have been planning for quite some time. I am ready and anticipating the Four Seasons Beaumont Garage Sale. Why on earth, you ask? What's the big deal? I'll tell you! I started at the beginning of this year to "thin" the number of treasures that seemed to be filling every room. I cleaned, polished and prepared them all —THEN — I priced every item. I was now ready for the April 2020 Garage Sale! As you know it was canceled. I optimistically boxed all objects to await the fall garage sale. Did any of us think we would still be wearing a mask? The boxes are still packed, stacked and filling my guest closet. No worries, we can't have overnight guests anyhow. I'm sure by now you can understand my heartfelt desire for a garage sale in 2021. If it never happens I'm sure our kids will appreciate that all the items have been priced. Do you think I should price them higher; they may be worth more in the future? Maybe. So I'm looking forward to the Biggest, Baddest Four Seasons Beaumont Garage Sale in 2021. I AM READY. Be sure to come by and check out my wares. Until then be safe. Submitted by Roberta 2020 has sadly been a year of illness, my cancer, our community, our country, our planet. We look to 2021 to be a year of healing, a new President, a vaccine for COVID-19, my cancer in remission. And to bring healing to those who have lost loved ones. We look forward to the simple and most precious things in life — being with family and friends again, being with our new granddaughter, hugging, line dancing, fixing up our house, gardening, finishing all the projects I've started, and, yes, finally cleaning out the garage. We look forward to shopping, in person, at the Outlet Mall, the Swap, local antique stores. We've missed you all so much. To enjoy life to the fullest you don't have to travel or cruise, it's right here where we live. Right here in Four Seasons. Our fabulous friends and neighbors who got us through this trying year, all the wonderful activities that are available to us, the clubs, games, our beautiful hiking trails, and our fabulous staff that make it all possible. We look forward to lunch at our fantastic bistro, concerts under the stars, fun dances, dressing up, and shows and fairs at The Lodge. As Dorothy said at the end of the Wizard of Oz, "There's no place like home." Submitted by Aundrea and Steve Katz LOOKING AHEAD FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2021 23
