FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2021 29 Check with your committee chair to confirm meeting place, date, and time. Landscape Committee Hello 2021! I'm pretty sure we can all agree that 2020 was certainly a "different" year. But now we start a new year - 2021. Your Landscaping Committee is starting this new year with a landscaping vendor who will now be watching over all of our community's landscape concerns. Park West is a valuable part of our Landscaping team and we are eager to collaborate with them on the projects we'll be working on this coming year. Our committee has been very busy for the last six months or so catching up from when we were closed down early in 2020. We are finishing up a huge landscape "refreshing" project in the Springdales, we are going to be soliciting RFPs for Smart Controllers which will, in the long run, save us all money on our irrigation needs and we're finally going to be landscaping the, up until now, un-landscaped southern slope on Breckenridge also known as "Lot A." Those projects are on slate for early in the year and we are also looking forward to more "refreshing" projects in the near future. These "refreshing" projects will be throughout the community, but with special attention paid to the older parts of our beautiful Four Seasons at Beaumont. Now, with all that in mind, here are a few questions for you. When you first drove into our community were you impressed with its beauty? Did you notice the trees and plantings that create a rich palette of greens, reds, yellows, purples along with many other colors? Did you think "wow – this community is beautiful"? Those of us volunteering on our committee did and we wanted to be a part of keeping our community beautiful. If you love creating beauty with all things green and growing, then join us! We are currently seeking new members and would love to get to know you. Join us on a Friday morning walk as we survey different sections of our community with our Landscape vendor's representative. Or visit us on the third Tuesday of the month when we meet to discuss new ideas and review proposals for landscaping work. If you find that this is a committee you'd enjoy being a part of then please let us know and we'll get you an application.
