FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2021 5 The COVID-19 pandemic continues to control our daily lives on what we are able to do and not do. The Board of Directors and our First Service Management Team monitor the State and County guidelines on a daily basis. Whenever we can open any of our amenities based on new guidelines, we will do so as quickly as possible. Please continue to wear masks where required to do so, maintain social distancing, and follow the other guidelines put in place to help maintain your health and safety. The 2021 budget has been approved by our Board of Directors, and as we hoped, we were able to use the COVID-19 savings to offset any dues increase for the Master Plan Unit which affects all 1,853 homes in our community. This was extremely difficult because of the rising costs of our contracts and the cost of living in Riverside County. Our Finance Committee, the Contracts Subcommittee, FirstService Management Team, and the Board of Directors worked hard to cut the budget where possible to minimize possible increases in our new contracts. Thank you all who worked so hard on the budget, contracts, and the reserve study review to make it possible for the HOA not to have an increase for 2021. Our Contracts team is looking at many of the large contracts months in advance to get the best price for the services needed by the HOA. Park West Landscape will be responsible for the entire Four Seasons community beginning Dec. 14, 2020. All About Cleaning was awarded the contract for janitorial services for the next 12 months. These contracts were awarded after a thorough and competitive bid process with numerous vendors. The many vendors we use at Four Seasons are only part of the reason our community is as beautiful as it continues to be. We have many committees that contribute hundreds of volunteer hours to make the community a wonderful place to live. The Board of Directors and FirstService Management Team would like to thank the Ad Hoc Conservancy, Architectural, Canine Corral Council, Communications, Community Planning, Emergency Preparedness, Facilities, Finance, Landscape, Safety, Social, and the Technical Operations Committee members for all you do in support of our community. You all are greatly appreciated. The Board of Directors hopes that 2021 will be a year of improved living conditions and lasting friendships among all our residents. Stay healthy, be safe, and be kind to each other. If you would like to contact the Board about any issue, you may either email us at the board@fourseasonsbeaumont.org or call me at (951) 212-8898. Message From The Board By Jerry Monahan, Board President
