May 2021 be kinder to us. I know we have all been through a difficult year. We all miss seeing each other and playing Shuffleboard. I know I do. With a positive attitude WE WILL be playing Shuffleboard in September. Remember there is a faithful group that play on Monday and Friday at 8:30 am, weather permitting. They would love to have you join them. New players or seasoned players welcome. Maximum players are 12. Any resident can check the Shuffleboard equipment out. If you are interested go to the front desk and they will explain the procedure. If you have any questions please contact Toni Harris at toniharris63@verizon.net or (951) 325- 8357. I hope everyone has had a Merry Christmas and a safe New Years Eve. As you all know, things are not getting any better. All we can do is pray and hope that 2021 is a better year for the world. Remember that any resident of Four Seasons may sign out the Bocce equipment and play at any time. The Lodge attendant will be happy to assist you. They will take you to the spa building where the older equipment is stored and give it to you for your use. You would then return the bag to the door of the storage room and let the Lodge attendant know that you are finished. They will put it back at their leisure. For info contact Dennis Harris at (951) 325-8357 or email dharris327@verizon.net. Bocce Shuffleboard Check with your club contact to confirm meeting place, date, & time. From President – Gary Sopata: Welcome to 2021… may it turn out to be less challenging for all of us and our Golf Club. Meet your Board members for 2021 — same as our 2020 Board members with the exception and departure of Debbie James as our Social Chairperson. Thank you Debbie for all your contributions this past year. And welcome to Fred Cahir as our new VP. Looking forward to seeing you during our Tuesday Club play. From the Greens Liaison - Bill Barnes: The golf course has been sold to a company named Deoworks with their headquarters New York. The purchase is to retain the property as a golf course and will operated by current staff. Ray is optimistic that the new owners are open to improvements. From the Membership Chair – Larry Becker: Have lunch on us! We are in the middle of a Membership drive. Any new member will get lunch at the golf clubhouse paid for by Hemet Golf Club the first time he or she plays. (This club is open for both men and women). We have a great group of members that enjoy getting out to play some golf. There are various types of tournaments spread out over the month on Tuesdays. If you are looking for a fun social time, now is the time to join us. Cost is $66 annually which covers club dues and handicap through SCGA. Please email me at Larrybecker03@aol.com or phone me at (951) 662-6068. Applications are also available at the front desk in the Lodge.
