| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JANUARY 2021 | 13 Sun Lakes Advisory Committee Reports We are happy to see more Advisory Committees submitting articles about the important work they are doing in Sun Lakes. Our goal is to have all active Advisory Committees share their news here each month. Thank you in advance for everyone's participation! Library Advisory The South Clubhouse library is open and the shelves are full. Puzzles and audio books are available on the front patio at 5354 W. Pinehurst. The Main and North Clubhouse libraries are closed due to county restrictions. We anticipate this schedule continuing at least until January. Please call (951) 777-5700 with any questions or concerns. Residents interested in serving on the Library Advisory Committee or shelving books for one half to one hour once a week, or as a substitute shelver when the libraries reopen, please call the above number or fill out an volunteer interest form at the Main Clubhouse reception desk. The Lifestyles Advisory Committee would like to wish everyone a healthy and Happy New Year! 2020 is behind us! What a year it has been. Normally, the month of January would include "Activities Day," where we can all visit the Main Clubhouse Ballroom to learn about each of the many Clubs and activities that Sun Lakes has to offer. As we know, such a gathering cannot take place – at least not this January. The Clubs have all done a great job of submitting articles for the Lifestyles Magazine throughout these past months to keep interest and positivity alive. Thank you for that. Perhaps this might be a good time to "introduce" your club as you would to new residents at the Activities Day table. We have so many new neighbors and learning about the clubs and many activities of Sun Lakes gives us something to look forward to. Again, thank you for your faithfulness in keeping Sun Lakes residents informed as we all look forward to returning to our normal, vibrant community life. Lifestyles Advisory We would like to remind dog owners to please keep their leashes on inside and outside Sun Lakes as we have had recent instances of aggressiveness against other dogs and people. There are also constant parking problems for people with large work trucks that won't fit into their garages. Passes will be necessary and displayed on the dash every night or there could be continuing fines. Parking should be arranged in the RV court or off site at a storage lot if you want to continue to live here. If you have any other thing which you would like for the committee to review, contact me, Bill Bess, at bbess94@outlook. com. Safety Advisory Happy New Year Sun Lak!
