Care For Your Skin Wednesday, Jan. 20, 10 am: Join us and Brookdale Murrieta in these informative and interactive talk sessions. Attention Colony residents! The Vista Murrieta High School Student Senate is encouraging and participating in a pen pal program this year, and they are hoping to have as many participants in The Colony as possible. The Vista Senators are dedicated to writing and communicating with their pen pals once a week. If you are interested in taking part in this fun program, please contact Kara in the Activities Office. They would love to get to know as many of you as possible! SEEKING PEN PALS ZOOM with us! Dear Colony Friends, We owe a huge thank you to everyone who pitched in to make the Colony Food Drive such a big success. The Food Pantry at the Methodist Church in Old Town is in its 20th year, and we haven't seen so many families in need since the recession in 2008. The food donated will help us continue to meet the increasing demand. If any good has come from this pandemic, it is the response of so many caring people reaching out to help others. We are grateful to Kara Hardy, Paula Thompson and Alyce Mitchum for helping coordinate getting food to those who need it, and to everyone who gave so generously. Thank you all. ~ Ann Hartwig, Murrieta United Methodist Church Food Pantry Dear Colony Residents, Sunshine Committee and HOA Management, Many thank yous for your generous response to the Holiday Food Drive! The Community Food Pantry of Murrieta is beyond grateful for your bountiful donations. St. Martha's Catholic Church is so humbled by your kindness to those in need in our community! You are living the meaning of the season to love others and offer hope and joy to all! Blessings to you! ~ Anita Hoetker and Maria Bhanukitsiri THANK YOU NOTES
