We are still playing pickleball even with the cold, the wind, and our
masks. It has helped ease the feeling of isolation and loneliness. To
liven this winter up, here are some pickleball funnies:
• It doesn't matter if you win or lose until - you lose!
• The mini heart attack you get when the ball hits the net… and
goes over… and the person closest doesn't go for it!!!
• Happy People play pickleball.
• Whose serve? What's the score? What day is it?
• To pickleball OR Not to pickleball? What a stupid question.
• I have OPD — Obsessive Pickleball Disorder.
• I'm not addicted to pickleball — we are just in a very committed
relationship!
• Practice like you've never won. Perform like you've never lost.
• You are your only limit!
• I'm a pickleball addict — on the road to recovery. Just kidding
— I'm on the road to the pickleball courts!
• You can't buy HAPPINESS but you can play PICKLEBALL and
that's pretty close.
• Zero zero two — GAME ON !
• Some grandmas take naps, real grandmas play pickleball!
Then take a nap.
So, if you are bored and want something new for the new year,
come join us. We play every morning Monday-Saturday starting at
7 am. Every Saturday at 9:30 am is a beginning class and a good
introduction to the sport. We have very friendly and nurturing
teachers. Questions? Ask Jeromee Liebenberg. Also, starting in
February there will be a first come first serve pickleball drills session
from 2 to 3:30 pm. This will help players fine tune skills and improve
their game. This will be held on the first Sunday of every month.
