Thank you to each and every one of you who took the time to decorate your yards for the holiday season. While so many were restricted from seeing friends and family, your decorations and lights brought much needed joy and a reminder of how much we are blessed and have to be thankful for. Candy Cane Lane truly brought an extra smile! A special shout out to Don and Malea Ortloff for inviting us to tour the community to enjoy our own Four Seasons Festival of Lights and for Malea's awesome hot chocolate that added to the evening. You are the best and we are so happy to be part of this community. Ron and Mona Milbrandt This is my husband Dave Lara. Every year he puts up Christmas lights for some of our neighbors. He not only does theirs, but he goes all out on his own Christmas lights too. He does it to bring joy and smiles to our neighbors and community. Also, our neighbor next-door works, so my husband makes sure he puts his trash cans away for him while he is away. On a personal note, I was blessed with a kidney transplant September 2020, and gratitude just doesn't seem enough to say about my husband. He was there for me the whole time. Took care of me in so many ways. So gratitude, kindness, and love is what this man is to me, and I know our neighbor/friends feel the same way. I am very proud of you Dave for helping others. You are truly a kind and thoughtful husband and friend to all. Thank you for being a loving husband and a wonderful neighbor and friend. Your wife Linda, our neighbors and friends All the years since September of 2007 at Four Seasons Beaumont, Frank and I have been so blessed with joy and continued true happiness from Cindy Graves and Team. Eric and Saphire, Aly, Justin, Rachel, and Annette have been so caring and ready to help at all times. Thanks to Tiya and her ARC Chair Steve Cooley and Robert who closely facilitated my recent landscape process so smoothly. Our neighbor Bill Raphael always says, "Another happy day in Paradise" whenever we see each other. Great neighbors like Len and Grace are also so helpful… thank you ALL. From my heart, Teresa Lee FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2021 35 With Sincere Appreciation From Winter Wish Winter Wish is a local program that began 31 years ago, helping one family of a Beaumont Unified School District student living in their car. This year 201 families with 610 children were granted their wishes with the assistance of the Four Seasons community. The program was founded by the Beaumont Soroptimist and is still under their financial umbrella, but over the years other service clubs, churches, businesses, 55+ communities and residents have joined in to make Winter Wish successful. Our Four Seasons community has played a big part of making each year a big success. Endless gift tags are chosen, shopped for, beautifully wrapped, and returned. As more families are received during November and December, you graciously stepped forward again and again to help fulfill those wishes. Your continued generosity is never-ending and very much appreciated. Thanks to your donations, food purchases are augmented and we can give each family at least three bags of groceries. Along with the groceries, each family will receive a $20 Stater Bros. gift card. Parents are so appreciative of this extra help during this season. We value our continued partnership with each one of you who participates and look forward to working with you again next year. A special thank you to Justin and our Lodge staff for all their help of distributing tags and gathering your generous gifts. ~ Pamela Dopf
