FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2021 61 Check with your club contact to confirm meeting place, date, and time. Join us for an afternoon of friendship and fun while playing a game of Hand and Foot Canasta. We meet Thursdays in the RCN Main Room from 12:45 to 4 pm. Table assignments are distributed at 12:45 pm. Each week you may play with someone different, giving you an opportunity to meet new friends and/ or visit with old friends. We supply the cards, so just bring yourself and a desire to have fun. If you don't know how to play, we are always happy to set up a teaching table — by the end of the afternoon you will have mastered the game. It has been about a year since we have been fighting the coronavirus. I do hope that everyone had happy holidays during these difficult times. 2020 was just a terrible year with the loss of Kobe Bryant and other families. The coronavirus and other issues in society have left everyone stressed out. 2021 is a New Year that gives us hope, focus, promise and prosperity for a better year. Hopefully we might be able to play dominoes again once the coronavirus death counts drop and the vaccine starts to work. So please everyone stay positive and resilient. We are all in this together. Wear your masks, keep practicing social distancing and hold your shields up high and we will defeat our invisible enemy. For more information about dominoes, call Jesse at (951) 769-2035 or Reggie at (951) 743-3584. ~ Marvin Gaines Our group in happier times Our Savior's Lutheran — ELCA • Our Worship 8 & 10:30 am • 20 Twelve Step Groups • Kid's Nite Wed., 5:30 pm 1320 W.
