| OHCC LIVING | FEBRUARY 2021 | 25
Spring is on the horizon and I can't wait… Mother Nature is
beginning her annual transition, and so are our crafts. Flannel fabrics
give way to cottons; the pastel yarns emerge from hibernation. The
darker, warmer colors of fall and winter find a drawer to reside in for
a few months, and brighter tones begin to brighten our enthusiasm
for our next project.
The first Thursday of every month is our club meeting, where we
handle the brief business of our group. It is at 9:30 am over Zoom,
and on Fridays at noon the "chat" group gets together there as well to
catch up and visit. Whether you sew, crochet, knit, quilt, or just want
to see what's going on with us, you are all welcome!
If you are interested in participating in our activities and are
not sure of who to reach out to during this time, please call Chris
Sanderson at (858) 442-1834, or MaryLu Belisle at (952) 454-1931
for more information. Also, please visit our website, lovingly updated
by Terri Eckhardt, http://ohccsewing.wixsite.com/ohccsewing.
All are welcome to join us. If you were a member in 2020, your
membership is extended through 2021. New member dues are $7 for
the year. We look forward to seeing you in person when life gets back
to normal, but meanwhile, we'll be Zoom-ing!
