Int'l Culture Club
Club members were preparing to attend the March St. Patrick's
Day dinner and dance last year when we received the phone call
from Club Officers that our event that evening had been canceled
due to the coronavirus pandemic. And, while we still won't be able to
celebrate the "wearing of the green" together again this year, we can
celebrate in our own homes by dressing in green, listening to some
Irish music and enjoying some homemade corned beef and cabbage.
In the meantime, the Executive Board has been working with
Executive Chef, Hugo Salazar, on a long list of possible vegan choices
that will be available as one of the dinner choices once activities
resume.
If you were a paid member in 2020, your membership is being
carried over into 2021. However, we need to bring our membership
list up to date with your latest information. If you have had a
change of address within Sun Lakes or have a new phone number,
please contact Betty Beidelman at (951) 769-6200 to provide our
Membership Chairman with your new information.

The Pink Ukuladies & Gents
Seeing this photo from December 2019 causes some
nostalgia of our good old days, playing and singing in
the ballroom with Lily Fedotowsky. The group continues
to anticipate the day when we will have a new leader.
Meanwhile, many of us join the Loma Linda Strummers
every Tuesday on Zoom. Each week, new techniques are
presented by the leaders, simplifying chord changes as
well as alternate strumming or picking.
Hoping and praying that the pandemic will lighten
after these few difficult months, we extend our gratitude
to those who have given equipment, support and
encouragement to our Sun Lakes community.
