"With each sunrise we are given a chance for a new beginning!" We hope, as you are reading this, that you have "snagged" an appointment for your COVID-19 immunization. Riverside County has opened several locations where seniors can get that first shot and schedule the second. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Team Sunshine is here ready to serve. Cards are being sent and telephone calls are being made. We find in this community, certainly during this time, that keeping a positive outlook is magic. It is our task to pass that on as much as we can, and it is a privilege to do so. If you are new to our community and are not aware of Team Sunshine's services, you can pick up a Caring Connection Card compiling our outreach here in Four Seasons. Cards are available at the front desk in The Lodge. Celebrations/Memorials: It is this part of our input to the community that burdens our hearts. Again, we have several Four Seasons residents who have passed. Our condolences go to Bill Compton's family. His wife, Ruth, requested that his photo (pictured above left) and bio be placed in The Lodge. Our sympathies go to the John Luscombe family. Wife, Rosemary, also requested a photo (above right) and bio in The Lodge. Both requests were honored. Due to the recent passing of Ken Pounders (long time Four Seasons Board Member) and George Woods, we are adding them here but will have further information when the Co-Chairs have had time to contact these families. Prayer Requests: For those wishing prayer, a prayer request box has been provided in the Multipurpose Room for your convenience. If you have a request, prayer cards are provided. The cards are picked up weekly and your request will be filled. Marietta Ruppaner collects prayer requests and emails them to members of the prayer team. When COVID-19 restrictions in Riverside County are lifted, the team will resume meeting in person. If you are interested in joining call Marietta.
