18 | OHCC LIVING | MARCH 2021 | Here's a list of trips the RV Club has planned for 2021. May 17-21, Sequoia and Kings Canyon – this will include sightseeing tours, golf, fishing, and a dinner. Sept. 20-26, Buellton-Days of Wine and Windmills. Nov. 1-6, Christmas in Branson. Nov. 15-19, Thanksgiving in Chula Vista. Other trips in the works: A pop-up trip in April to Silver Strand Beach, a day trip in June to sail on a tall ship out of Dana Point, and an RV Fantasy Tour Zoom program in March. Included with this month's RV Club news are a few photos from the March 2019 trip to Lone Pine, CA. The stagecoach was at the Museum of Western Film. The photo of RVs with mountains in the background are those who came early for the trip and were dry camping at Alabama Hills outside of Lone Pine. The new 2021 RV Club Board are as follows: Skip Harvey, President; Mel Feintuch, Treasurer; Tatis Cervantes-Aiken, VP Social; Barbara Becker, Secretary; Fred Peppe, VP Trips; Joe Moore, VP Membership; and Bob Becker, VP Lots. RV Club Garden Club Happy St. Patrick's Day to all! With spring just around the corner, roses have been pruned, seeds are planted, and soon our beautiful community will be in full bloom. Looking ahead… mark your calendar for May 12, because plans are in progress and gardens are being prepared for our popular Ocean Hills Garden Tour. If we cannot hold an in-person event, we plan to offer it as a virtual experience via photos and videos on the OHCC website and the OH TV channel. Stay tuned for details about the tour and other activities. If you would like to join the Garden Club, we would love to have you! Both men and women are always welcome (annual dues are $10). Members receive monthly bulletins via email which include gardening tips & resources as well as club news about upcoming meetings, guest speakers, plant sales, gardening workshops, outside tours, luncheons, and more.
